The
10th International Transports Exposition Cuba
duly opens in Havana Exhibition Center Sept.27,2006.
The exposition is jointly held by Ministry of
Communications of Cuba, Ministry of Foreign
Trade of Cuba, Chamber of Commerce of Cuba,
Havana Conference Center, and EXPOCUBA. Zhengzhou
Yutong Bus Co., Ltd, as the representative of
Chinese enterprises in exposition, brings its
20 fine models, receiving attention from participators.
News comes that it is the second time for Yutong
to participate such an exposition.
Automotive
manufacturers are, at the end of September and
beginning of October, sparing no efforts to
occupy domestic markets. About 20 people from
Zhengzhou Yutong Bus Co., Ltd, the leader of
domestic bus industry, however, are busy with
the Exposition in Cuba, accelerating Yutong's
pace to American markets. The remarkable is,
one month ago, Yutong obtained the certificate
of "Export Inspection Exemption" granted
by General Administration of Quality Supervision£¬Inspection
and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China,
the first unusual glory for automotive industry.

Havana,
the capital of Cuba, is the gateway through
Gulf of Mexico to Atlantic Ocean, historically,
being the major business center. International
Transports Exposition Cuba, as an important
exposition in North and Middle Americas as well
as Caribbean District, has considerable influence
upon Americas even the world. It is reported
several hundred thousand people have visited
the expositions. The participators include over
160 enterprises from 38 countries, among which,
Germany, Belgium, Brazil, Canada and Russia
come every year, China has come for two times.

10th International Transports Exposition Cuba
this year is greater than ever. The exposition
lasts four days, and covers commercial vehicles,
industrial vehicles, household vehicles, sightseeing
buses, large buses, and spare parts. We see
20 kinds of Yutong products exhibited in the
hall as almost large as 2,500m2, including ZK6128H
which won Award for Best Bus Model BAAV2006,
school bus ZK6737D, and urban bus ZK6608DA.
The products range from buses, special vehicles
to engineering machinery.
Yutong
buses enjoy good reputation in Cuba. Even Chairman
Castro once spoke highly of them. In this exposition,
Yutong buses receive wide attention and recognition.
"It's great manner driving Yutong buses
in Cuba." Cuba drivers said. Some citizens
even called Yutong buses "the movable landscapes
along Caribbean seashore." It is reported
Yutong makes full preparation for this exposition,
whose relevant staff undertake broad investigation
on markets of Cuba and other districts. The
products exhibited gather Yutong's advanced
techniques and concepts, and very fit for road
conditions and labor conditions in Cuba.

The
remarkable is that Yutong, first attending International
Transports Exposition Cuba in 2005, produced
a great influence and achieved a lot. An agreement
for exporting 400 buses amounting to 240 million
Yuan RMB was made between Yutong and Cuba April
2005. It is Chinese largest bus-export order.
Yutong, only six months later, exported again
630 buses to Cuba, amounting to 50 million US
dollars, Chinese largest bus-export order in
2005.
Undoubtedly
Cuba as well as Caribbean District has become
the key overseas market of Yutong. According
to the statistic from China Chamber of Commerce
for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic
Products, Automotive Branch, export of Chinese
automobiles to South America has increased by
117% the first half year 2006. "By taking
advantage of this exposition, we can introduce
our products to other governments and enterprises,
develop the potential customers." Said
a leader of Yutong Overseas Market Department,
"No matter in South America, or in North
and Middle Americas as well as Caribbean District,
Yutong exerts some influence on local markets."
At the very beginning this year, ZK6138DA buses,
independently developed by Yutong, passed the
DOT certification of United States, and were
exported to United States, which ended the history
that no Chinese buses were exported to European-United
States market.

Cuba, Jamaica, Chile to Peru, Yutong buses are
exported to more and more American countries.
Now the DOT certification implies Yutong is
competing with bus manufacturers in Europe and

of Yutong products and newly-established service
system, have realized the excellent Chinese
bus industry.
