or 'limited'." Mr. Pei Chenghu, Vice Director of Beijing
Environmental Protection Bureau explained that the purpose of
this civic was for the sake of the air quality.
This means that the practice of having license auctioned
will not be carried out here in the capital city.
The local transportation commission is making a plan
for parking in the town. Parking charges will not give positive
incentives to users of private cars.
Vehicles will be subject to Euro-III gas emission
standard this year in Beijing. The Euro-IV standard will be imposed
by 2008.
