China Signs Trade Deal with Bangladesh

Chinese trade delegation has signed two purchasing contracts on jute and leather with Bangladesh in Darka.
The purchase is decided by Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao, when he met his visiting Bangladesh counterpart Begum Khaleda Zia in May.
The deal worth a total of 6.5 million US dollars.
Sino-Bangladeshi trade relation has increased rapidly in recent year but with a deficit on Bangladesh's side.
The delegation also talked with Bangladeshi Ministry of Commerce secretary Amin Rahman on how to enlarge Bangladesh's export to China and reduce its trade deficit.
