Successful
Busworld Shanghai On Show
36 % more exhibitors,70 % more exhibit space
|
There were 11 284 professional and trade visitors
or 37 % more than last year. The exhibit space rose
as well compared to the first edition, by 70 % to be
exact. And the number of exhibitors jumped from 78 to
106, a rise of 36 %. So the second Busworld Asia?in
the Chinese city of Shanghai was clearly a big success.
Of particular note was the rise in the number of outsource
suppliers and the growing interest among foreigners
for the Chinese market. Small wonder since, with an
annual output in 2001 of 59 330 new buses, this is the
world biggest bus market, whose future prospects are
potentially huge.
The third Busworld Shanghai?will, like last time,
be held in the new
exhibition complex at Pudong (Shanghai business centre),
more specifically on 18, 19 and 20 March 2003. Going
by the many enthusiastic pre-bookings received by the
end of the show, Busworld Shanghai - 2003?will, yet
again,
see record attendance figures and sharp increases in
the take-up of floor space. |
